Chased things down, laid things off well when he had the chance. Certainly no problems with him today. Their goal came as a result of errors by both Grimes and Hamer, but they were symptomatic of a sloppy second half. Whilst a lot of fingers will be pointed at the referee, ultimately we've only got ourselves to blame. RM isn't blameless either. Smith is not an attacking midfielder. Taking Ntcham off for him handed even more momentum to Blackpool and they were taking enough of it as it is.

Agree, Piroe had little service either when he was on. Blackpool were the better team in my opinion.

I wouldn't say they were the better team overall. We had the first half, they had the second. You can see why they're so effective away though. Came closer than most to nullifying our style. It's games like today that should be firming our January transfer targets in the clubs mind. Definite lack of creative options on the bench as the game wore on.

Yes fair enough maybe I was a bit extreme but they certainly deserved the draw. Very impressed by them, probably best performance at liberty since Stoke, although we were a mess that game so hard to judge how good they were.

Agreed but I also noted that for much of the second half we didn't win the second ball much and we did not seem get any luck "of the bounce". A number of things conspired to ruin our afternoon but we must cut out the self-inflicted problems.

We were lacking energy in the second half but were under no real pressure until the substitution. Obifemi chased down but didn’t have much success and Walsh didn’t get into the game at all. Poor changes by Marin really.

| Swansea City v Blackpool : Matchday Thread 2021/22 UPDATED WEDS on 17:10 - Nov 20 by NotLoyal | Both piroe and obafemi (who did nothing) need to pressurise the keeper, it wasn't done throughout the game. |
I’m the second half he was pressured however they got an out ball because no one pressed their right back. Twice at least

| Swansea City v Blackpool : Matchday Thread 2021/22 UPDATED WEDS on 22:02 - Nov 20 with 957 views | Badlands | Blackpool pressed really well and in past seasons they'd have completely dominated us. We mostly showed good quick passing but often frustrated by the bizarre decisions of the referee and no decisions from the linos. Grimes was excellent in the first half but tired in the second. Cabango and Ntcham took a bit of time to get on the same wavelength but the Frenchman also lost passes from Naughton and Downes. Without Cabango's height we might have been in serious trouble, even though he didn't win everything in the air he made sure the Blackpool player didn't get a free pass. Laird was excellent as was Naughton (arial battles aside). The turning point for me was the subs. Once Ntcham and Piroe went off we had no presence going forward. Obi ran but with no end product and Walsh was hopeless. Definitely a last 20 we could have done with Fulton. | |

Not only that to set his side up to nearly always get something from an away game in the EFL. He did it again yesterday at Swansea as the Seasiders took a point from an exciting clash at the Swansea.Com stadium. 0
