If it carries on you'll end up with bombings and shoot outs maybe even civil war between the extremists on both sides. Nothing good will come of it. Is this what the government and MSM are pushing for. It wouldn't be the first time.

Isn't opposing protests and wanting to inflict violence on them…. fascism?

It’s funny the word fascist gets thrown about like confetti yet when there actually is fascist ideas thrown about, people ignore it.

Simply people want others to agree with them or else, often those that think of themselves as liberal are among the worst for it.

I respect everyone’s right to protest and think it should be encouraged, as long as it is alongside sensible and meaningful dialogue.

I think it is entirely justified if people are protesting vaccine mandates. It should be a choice. Not sure how the opposite can be argued really.

It’s not mandates in the U.K. it is simply vaccination. Big difference

Its essentially a mandate though isn't it.

Get a vaccine or you aren't allowed to lead a normal life. There should be no consequence or restrictions of freedoms imposed on anyone who doesn't want to get a vaccine... other than the added personal risk of not having it of course.

It is a very slippery slope.

I have only had my first jab, not enough time passed yet for my second.

I was denied entry into shops last week unless I provided proof I had two doses. Just madness. I fully support anyone protesting the Governments approach to roll out vaccinations if it is impinging on peoples freedoms.

The bill about to be signed over here is utterly ludicrous and the world should be on red alert.

Because it essentially didn’t exist where I live for a long time.

I also wanted to make an informed decision over what I put in my body. In the end I was essentially forced to do it in order to maintain a normal life.

Others that don’t want to have the vaccine for whatever reason they choose should be allowed that freedom to choose without any consequence on their day to day lives.

We should all be extremely supportive of anyone that wishes to not get the vaccine yet is threatened with their freedom. We certainly shouldn’t be condoning or wishing violence on them.

Can’t quite fathom it.

I'm not a fan of complulsory vaccination, but I think we're being forced down that road by the anti-vax brigade.

The amount of completely false and dangerous information around means people excercising their right to choose not to be vaccinated are basing that decision on the agenda of others. Just look at some of the rubbish posted on here. The vaccines are safe and effective.

Their decsion not to be vaccinated then impacts everyone else.

I've read a couple of articles that state ICU beds in the NHS treating covid patients are disproportionately occupied by those who haven't recieved a vaccine. Those beds aren't available for other emergencies and routine major treatment. I know that ambulances have been spending hours outside A&E units with unvaccinated covid patients on board. Nowadays a wait of way over an hour for an ambulance in a life or death situation is common place.

My parents (70's) live about 3 miles from Morriston A&E a paramedic friend told me not to bother ringing an ambulance as I could drive them there quicker in an emergency.

The NHS is on it's knees, that's not solely down to covid but there are currently nearly 8000 people in hospital with Covid. That's about 11 full hospitals. a significant number of those are unvaccinated.

The situation may be different in Aus, but that is the reality in the UK.

So, I'm not supportive of anyone who does not wish to get the vaccine. They are taking resources away from the rest of society. They're completely selfish.

Aside from refusing to treat them in hospital, which is completely inhumane, I think day to day consequences of not being vaccinated are the only way to ensure we have a functioning NHS. Even if it is only barely functioning.
