Russia invade Ukraine 14:17 - Dec 23 with 152885 viewsFlynnidine_Zidownes

Discuss.

Also why is Putin always described in the media as this rugged strongman? He’s barely five foot tall with his high heels on.

But that’s another debate.

Khodaryonok is a Putin loyalist BUT he has been very unhappy how Russia has gone about this war for a while. He is one of the VERY FEW people who can get away with criticism of the regimes actions. Notice how he bats off Skabeyeva's repeated attempts to tone down/undermine his comments.

Additionally, this is what he wrote in 2015...

300 fighters surrender (including 50-100 seriously wounded) and are taken to DPR hospitals.
Azov commanders order the surrender of all remaining fighters holed up in Azovstal steel works.
Seems Mariupol is now 100% controlled by DPR forces.

As ever you misrepresent the facts...

"Russia said Tuesday that 265 Ukrainian soldiers holed up in Mariupol’s besieged Azovstal steel plant had “surrendered,” contradicting Kyiv’s account that the evacuated soldiers would be exchanged later.

“The surrender of fighters from the Azov nationalist unit and Ukrainian servicemen blocked in the Azovstal plant in Mariupol began yesterday,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily briefing.

Russia’s military said 265 fighters, 51 of whom were seriously wounded, “laid down their arms.”

Those in need of medical assistance were sent to a hospital in the town of Novoazovsk, which is controlled by pro-Russia separatists, it added.

Ukraine’s defense ministry said Monday the fighters had been evacuated through humanitarian corridors to areas under Russian and Moscow-backed separatists’ control and that a further “exchange procedure” would take place later.

But shortly after the Russian Defense Ministry's statement, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament, the State Duma, ordered lawmakers to draft a standing order prohibiting the exchange of Azovstal troops for Russian prisoners of war.

I see someone being telling lies , again " Russian Deputy PM Marat Khusnullin says Ukraine’s Kherson region has “great prospects” and “will take its rightful place in the Russian family.” (On March 16, Vladimir Putin assured the world that Russia had no intention of occupying Ukraine.)

Do you accept that (as you put it) a denaifying of the Ukraine's military is necessary then as there are nazi's in the Russian army then that army also needs destruction?

So an authoritarian gets to decide for the whole world.

That's an "interesting" viewpoint.

We thought it was fine to rid the world of NAZIs 80 years. Seems we no longer think like that.

Nobody has said that but you are ,deliberately, mising the elephant in the room.

Forgetting the facts: that Ukraine is the least anti-semitic country in Europe; that there are jews and muslims (a small amount) in Azov; Potential Azov recruits are vetted by the regular armybefore allowing them to join them; Ukraines total amount of support for right wing parties in the last election was less than that of the UK and most (if not all) other European countries.

Putting all those points aside... if Russia truely wanted to tremove the Nazi's/Azov then those 120 BTGs would have swarmed in via the Donbass and Crimea and taken Mariupol very quickly, putting and end to Azov and the remnants of the extreme nationalists. BUT THEY DIDN'T - as it was an excuse. Their narrative has evolved as the war has moved.

Instead they targeted hospitals, national power stations, local heating plants, bakeries, schools, civilian neighbourhoods/houses/flats. They shot at (and killed) pensioners in their cars with 30mm cannons. They drove over civilian cars with tanks and other tracked armour. They attacked zoologhical parks with guided missiles. They tortured and executed civilians, they took children as human shields when they retreated from the north of Kyiv. By their own figures they have forcibly taken 1.2 MILLION civilians from Ukraine and placed them in Russia (mostly the east).

You are an authoritarian apologist. You are a reprehensible human being.

80 years ago we established NATO to hopefully secure peace or at least prevent another world war.

Seeing as Putin mentioned NATO more times in his speech announcing the invasion of Ukraine than Nazis. Should we rid the world of NATO at his behest, and by your logic eliminating all of the military forces of member countries?

That must be the answer, we should just give the whole world over to Russian control!

That might make the apologists and Putin fanboys happy...until they realise what it's like living under the control of an authoritarian! I guarantee a "Freeman on the land" wouldn't like it.
There's a thought, maybe Putin's actions are entirely legal and OK in some people's head because they agree with him?
In which case would they be both freeman and Quisling?

NATO was formed to defend Free Europe from the Communist threat to the East and did so very successfully, only to see the credit for it given to the EU by some whackjobs.

Over time the nature of the threat has changed, but clearly it remains.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Somewhat ironically Putin has also blamed EU expansionism ( as well as NATO ) for his attack on Ukraine...besides the Nazi's of course!

You are clueless. You have taken the card the conjurer has given you. You are perfect fodder for our media, It's nothing personal with me, I don't take sides,I like to see what's really happening, like any decent student of current affairs would. You are not like this, you don't have the cast of mind to be able to look at things objectively.

Once again you provide nothing to back up your claims just soundbites to paint me as some sort of sheeple whilst you "do your own research"...given to you by state propaganda arms

The only counter you ever provide is outdated and outmoded whataboutery and videos of very questionable provenance usually posted (almost certainly as either mis-direction or as an attempt to claim both-siderism) after reports of Russian wrongdoing/warcrimes. One of the links I posted for you has Russian bloggers decrying Russia's operations and yet here you are still beating the Russian propaganda drum.

In these times of barbaric behavior perpetrated on innocent women children, old and infirm by those brave Russian "soldiers" (a very loose term) Isn't it great to see so many smiles and joyous scenes . Thanks for posting

Prior to this recent escalation, the Ukraine was shelling the Donbass area up to 2000 times per day.You never once mentioned that
