I’m not really debating if it’s good or not anyway (it clearly isn’t), what I’m trying to find out is when was the last time we went on such a winless league run outside the Premier League.

Not that that’s an excuse, you’d expect them to be professional but it does happen when there’s nothing left to play for at the end of the season. True, we did have quite a strong run before that though which suggested we had turned a corner. Wasn’t it six wins out of nine or something like that? I remember a disappointing defeat to Blackpool and then there was the Fulham game where we were very competitive until the red card but we were towards the top of the form table and scoring a fair few goals. | |

we had a small whiff of a chance at the play offs but poor draws against Barnsley and then Reading cost us big time 2 pts from 6, if we'd have won both of those games, which in all honestly was a shambles that we didn't, then who knows where momentum could have taken | |
