Reading the non football,section on this site, I would think that there are quite a few who think it's crazy postponing those games.

Newcastle played yesterday and today they call off their next game.
It’s a bit odd. Or convenient ?
Can’t comment on the UK but Spain are going ahead with vaccinations, masks ( don’t wear one it’s a huge problem ) freedom of movement not affected, football, sport and everything as normal. Maybe there comes a time when we have to say press on ? More people here are currently dying from a multitude of other viruses of old than Omicron. People will embarrass you in public if you don’t use the supplied hand cleansers when entering and leaving shops. Some won’t let you in if you don’t or just ban you if you get mouthy. Not that I’ve seen it.
But here in this province you must have a Covid pass ( 2 Jabs at least ) or you can’t go in to any shops, restaurants etc. People are complying, as Ive said before that’s odd for Spain, very militant people but they seem to be sensible regards precaution. |  |

These are seen as fascist measures Keith ,by some.
It is beyond me
Britain does not enforce regs and people blatantly enjoy non complying.
