| Any logic in bring back the Welsh Pirlo? 14:01 - Jan 11 with 1249 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Swansea are now heading ion a new era of possession based football. The most extreme version of this was under Brendan Rodgers and Joey Allen was the "poster boy" of this mantra, The club has gone full circle and the same Joey (still only 31) is out of contract in the summer. A little more injury prone theses days but still a grafter. Fluent Welsh speaker and all round good egg. Should Swansea be talking about a pre contract agreement for a grimes Allen axis.? Joey will of course need to recognise new financial realities. https://www.stokesentinel.co.u | |

I put a strong positive emphasis on local players empathising with the community and culture. This is well known to be a positive benefit. Fer, Van de Horn could have stayed at Swansea but had a strong drag back to mainland Europe once the financial advantages were gone. I was a little disappointed to see Wayne Routledge leave Swansea and return to Croydon after his 11 year stint. Rangel on the other hand sees Swansea as home. You have moved out of the area and adopted 'border land' perspectives by the sounds of it which is perfectly valid.

Identity improves us. Otherwise you may as well support Telford or MK Dons.
