I define a long time ago as pre 2018 ( a sadly watershed year for me) so honestly cannot remember the finer details of who told me what prior to 2018

So they said Dr P lives in Aberdare? or was it another username you are mistakenly attributing to me?

This is fascinating.

What a shame, it was just getting interesting.

So yes, back to the point.

Due to the abuse that the people who correctly criticised take every time we grind out any kind of result, it has given way to an environment where those people show that they were justified in their comments when the majority of the season is as they said it would be under this system, for all the shortfalls that people are now waking up to.

There is no enjoyment there, that is just a cheap and transparent way for the happy clappers to continue to attack them, despite the fact their victims have clearly been proven correct. If they defend themselves by showing that, they are accused of reveling in it. Trolling 101.

Thankfully for me I have no such qualms in showing the evidence for my comments and no amount of nonsense made up about my feelings will put me off from doing that.

Why are you so reluctant to say where you live ?

Because your story isn't quite adding up at the moment. I want you to commit to the story before I answer, I think that is fair.

You said initially, that you were told that I live in Aberdare and accusing me of lying about where I live, essentially. Right?

I then did some pressing and it turns out you were told 4 years ago that ANOTHER USERNAME lives in Aberdare. Which is quite the different scenario you initially painted.

So now we need to know what username you were told lives in Aberdare, and why you are assuming I am them.

Easy right? If it's true of course...

Sheeple = derogatory term meaning like sheep ( one that is easily led )
Clearly do not know me or Daps at all.
Our views may differ from you and the other members of the "glass half empty" clan, but as I stated elsewhere on this forum, my views are my own.
I do not need to be led, nor do I follow other people's opinions.
I may agree with other people's opinions ( God forbid, I have even agreed with some of yours), but that is totally different.
If being a " happy clapper" means I support the club, team and manager ( although those that know me know I am very critical of them when they deserve it, as after Tuesday's debacle and RM's unbelievable interview), I would rather be that than one of the "glass half empty gang", who criticise RM and the team and seem to revel in each defeat or poor performance.
You are not supporters - you are all a disgrace and the club would be better off without you

I take great exception to that final statement just because I question and critique our manager because things are not working is because I am concerned and want the club to suceed

See again below
Given also some of the other posts I and I was the originator of this here is my response

My post came as a result of frustration...it is no secret I have been critical of the football we have since since Martins appointment mainly because it was being posted that all of a sudden how much better it all was than last season, despite the results being worse and what I saw presented on the pitch.
I sat through some boring matches 3 , 0-0 draws at home where we barely threatened the oppostions goal...yet we did keep the ball and passed it around mainly in our half...so how come this was better?
My postings were labelled negative and I was labelled with tags such as Cooper boy

I continued with my critique by further researching Martin and posting data based in his
previous managerial experience where it was apparant he had " an obsession with possession" over results,we also started to turn things around with our wins against Cardiff and WBA at whihc point I gave him credit and praise....and did so after Saturday...
I believe that when we have done well I have posted positively.

I have no dislike of the manager....I have a dislike of his system and his approach but do get frustrated at the blind optimism that somehow despite what he achieved at MKDons and his current "performance" that given time and transfer windows he will be a "great" manager.
Martin keeps talking of a "process" and to trust in the "process" . Where I come from processes are measured and if you look at his past and current data trends nothing points to show that that optimism is founded

It does seem ok though that when we win the optimistic brigade can come out and attempt to call the "socalled " negative brigade out but when it happens the other way round its wrong.

I have posted several times that the divide in the fan base is crazy....we all have different opinions and are entitled to them but for me it seems those who do not "tow the party line" are treated with alomist the same vile as we reserve for those in the away end on match days. I hate hypocrisy yet there are those on here telling those who only watch games via a screen they cannot understand as they are not at the game despite those same posters having made and still commenting on last seasons games and football despite only being able to watch via a screen then themselves.
I dont post to score points, I post to voice my opinion and ususally try to speak with data I do it as I care about my club...if I were "happy" we were losing for same sadisitc reason why would I criticise the main contributor to the failure.
I also have not called for his head as I know we cannot afford financially to release him and his team In one of my posts on Tuesday following his inexscusable interview I remarked how he is out of his depth, and could do with some help but where in the club could that come from? And would his ego allow it?

We have a history of appointing rookie managers, Tosh back in Div 4 a low risk given where we were despite the sterling wotk of a great much under appreciated club legend in Harry Griffiths. Tosh had Shankley as a mentor ......ROberto had Curt on the staff, Cooper had Marsh , MArtin just has a team of contempories around him.

I worry about the club in general, I am not convinced about WInter and Allen and dont forget we no longer have an ownership with an emotional attachment to the club as we did from 2002 -2016 or did previously with the likes of Malcolm Struel and Doug Sharpe at the helm. Our current owners are in it for the money and they got sold a pup...I would hate to think what would happen if we were relegated.

It is my dislike of hypocrisy which also contributed to my putting up this thread as it does/did seem that whenver we win the "half fulls" are quick to post to again attack the "half empties" yet the more vocal seem to go missing in action when we lose.

Again I also have not called for Martins sacking I have posted a few times that maybe the likes of Winter and Allen should have a word in his ear...Yes he has an ideal on how he wants to play but simetimes you cannot change things overnight and there has to be compromise to still achive results whilst making the change to where the vision is when the suitable resoucres and conditions allow......I speak form experience as a manager in industry having managed change both successfully and disasterously and seen it form others too as I am sure many in here can testify.

There is no winner in this current situation and I certainly dont post to point socre, crow or do be "I told you so". I actually want MArtin to suceed as then so will the club I love but I do not have the personality which will sit bacl and blindly igonre reality over hope.

Funnily enough Cooper's way of playing has evolved at Forest since he hasn't had Marsh with him

Maybe Cooper has adopted Martins technique

"Secondly we do know Russell Martin has some let’s say ‘different’ ways of developing his players He entrusts a belief in experiential learning, that is you understand what happened, manage what you did, and then move forwards with an action plan to prevent any potential errors in the future. "

And learnt who knows but Cooper is long gone from here..like other Managers, such as Martinez who no longer has Graham Jones at his side....

Cant resist it can you

Maybe MArtin needs to follow example

I apologise to you as the main posters I feel are negative are Dr P, Andy Cole / Dwight and especially Perch.
I don't always agree with your posts but do find them more balanced than the above.
Dr P in particular seems intent on being evasive, thinks that by just reiterating a point makes it so and trying to ridicule others.
These traits are very reminiscent of a previous poster who was constantly anti Gylfi and Llorente in spite of them being our main source of goals and assists that particular season

You are not supporters - you are all a disgrace and the club would be better off without you.”

Can you expand on that?

Any examples of this “revelling”?

From how I see it. There is a group on here who took an early stance against anyone who spoke about the reality of the situation as they wanted to believe this hype dream they were putting together.

Now it appears reality has set in, instead of admitting they were wrong to attack others for stating the truth, they are circumventing that by accusing those who were correctly critical of “enjoying or revelling in it”.

It’s a way to continue to attack the people who have proven they were correct and absolutely justified in their comments without admitting responsibility for how this group were treated and spoken to.

That’s the shameful thing.

However Dr P is like a dog with a bone.
That said, football is all about opinions.

Thanks for clarifying that.
I did wonder as said old poster was extremely venomous.
However Dr P is like a dog with a bone.
That said, football is all about opinions.
As you say, football changes people's behaviour.
There is one guy who sits two rows in front of me in the East. I swear every game he is going to have a heart attack.
Yet been reliably informed when the action stops he is great fun and a real gentleman
Let's hope that Sunday is a watershed and we start improving.
Could be a long 3 months otherwise...

Well you were essentially calling me a liar and said that people had been telling you I lived somewhere I do not. I think that’s perfectly valid reasons for further questioning.

You then went on to say I’m not a fan because…. Well you haven’t really explained that one other than me being correct in my comments this season regarding the limitations of our style. However allow Vetch a free pass despite probably being far more vocal of the points than me these days.

In fact your contributions have been quite bizarre.

Swansea Independent Poster of the Year 2021 and 2022.

When it get to Aberdare or wher you live, you just know you have them wrapped around your fingers.
STID,Lifey,Winston,daps- are all as peed off a you or me but they haven't the gut to admit publically. They will be kicking pussies and puppies around just like us after a Russy interview.

They want to be seen as smarter fans but they are not .

You can be in a minority of one and be right.

There you go mentioning me again, I’ve told you countless times that I’m not available.

Kicking pussies and puppies around? I don’t think so.

I would, he’s going through a particularly entertaining phase at the moment.

He’s interrogating me about a bus in Aberdare and inviting me to a chat in Merthyr on the other thread

I worked in Aberdare once when I was a Store Manager.
I was pretty young and pretty good looking if I say so myself.
Women seemed to get married at 16 then either get divorced at 21 or simply play away.
I enjoyed it there.
The year was when Point Blank with Lee Marvin was in the Plaza.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not
