Paper report today quoted him as saying “I’m not going to Getafe, that’s for sure”.

I’m not sure it’s the best move for him and that’s with my anti-Cardiff specs on. But he would be guaranteed all the playing time he wants. He won’t get that at Newcastle and Tottenham which is no good for Wales.

I'm not sure him playing in the Championship will be good for Wales either. A few games of heavy challenges and silly lunges and he could easily be out injured.

I think Bale will go to Cardiff, those stars are aligned I think.
