| Ghislane Maxwell on 16:56 - Jun 29 by Sirjohnalot | Define 'sure' You cannot keep people locked up forever more if there is no risk to the public. That's the decision they have to make and they take it very seriously Using your rationale you would lock up everyone who commits an assault for ever as you cannot be sure they won't kill anyone. How can you justify keeping someone in prison for something that happened eg when they were 21, in a rash moment of madness, when they are now 20 years down the line and there is no evidence at all of anything like that happening again ? Experts putting the prisoner through hours of cross examination and psych reports paint a very clear picture. There are people who should never be released and will never be released. That's the role of the parole board. |
Why can’t we keep people locked up forever? If they commit an abhorrent crime they should forfeit their right to freedom until the day they die. Even if they mellow out in later life they still need to pay for what they’ve done and what they’ve put others through.

And those people do. They get sentenced to whole life sentences. They will never be released. I’m talking about people not in that category.

We represent our client without fear or favour. Once again, if you were in a position of needing one. What would you what them to do for you, try to get the best possible outcome for you or to say ‘he’s an ex copper, deserves what’s coming to him, give life, Your Honour’?

If I were a sex offender I would quietly walk to the nearest railway crossing and stoll in front of the on coming train.Either that or pop over to Liverpool and get a gun and blow my brains out. I would not want a barrister to get me off when I know I am guilty. You should know that career criminals have no hame whatsoever and it is a game;you are part of it,without fear or favour. They do not respect you, simply use you. As I say,you seem to be a good man and people will take advantage of you. I am merciless towards those who inflict pain, hurt, loss to decent folk, especially the old and very young. Imagine defending Anthony Barton or the scrote that killed young Rhys in Croxteth. Most would not countenance it.

As I’ve said before a functioning justice system needs equality of arms. Both sides to be represented. Who do you think advises these people on the evidence to plead guilty ? If they are not represented they cross examine any witnesses or victims themselves. Who benefits then ? You know there are dodgy coppers out there who fit people up. Not everyone the police charge are guilty. If only there was a way of establishing who was guilty and innocent | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Wasting your time. If one day Perchy or a member of his family is accused of something they didn't do I would hope that he they have the good grace to refuse legal counsel. Of course he wouldn't because hypocrisy is his lifeblood.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I think his belief is honestly held. However I have had an officer in the past who was accused of sexual assault by a woman he arrested who contacted me after years of similar type conversations.

For every dodgy copper making a dodgy arrest, they will be backed up by their colleagues. No copper will ever intervene in an unlawful or wrongful arrest, and I mean none. They will stand by and let it happen. That makes them just as guilty.

I suspect a large part of it is based on the no doubt significant number of Merseyside briefs who would have made him look like a complete idiot on the witness stand. The man can rarely maintain a consistent story on a football forum. In the confines of a courtroom? It couldn't have been pretty. Those kind of mental scars can fester, hence his total disdain for an entire profession now. [Post edited 29 Jun 2022 21:11]

I have asked him to desist and the moderators here to top him. They havent. Recently we saw a snother request from Keith regarding the way we interact. I have commented enough about Winstone. He will use our argument to pile in with his hate and hate it truly is. We do it ok ,just stayking this side of personal abue.Winston cannot do this.Bear that in mind next time he posts hate my way I stand by every word and hopefully we will continue this discussion face to face at Blackpool. My comments reflect many ,though few on here One can be in a minority of one and still be right. Im assuming you looked up that Dale Wimbrow classic poem. I live by that. Literally.

Just read it. Excellent. Very Rudyard Kipling. Blackpool will be good, got there around 1.30 ish last time. Don’t normally hang around on the concourse but be good to have a proper chat before the game. If we time when we buy tickets, may even get close together

Well,we have or call it an exchange of views.Winston should learn how to do it. As I say,I stand by every word.If caught sex offending,I was take my own life. For another poster to include my family on a post purely to have a dig shows the individual in a very sinister light. There is no guarantee that any individual cannot snap ;what it is about is the degree to which their ire is articulated. It's self control really
