Back in the early 2000’s I sponsored a few games at the Vetch in the ‘Hospitality Lounge’ in the East Stand ( Vesta curry & chips was the norm).

God bless Diane & Lisa they worked tirelessly to get some commercial interest in the Club when we were in the doldrums everything was so personal back then.

Some of the games were so dire that we’d sometimes spend the second half in the ‘lounge’ watching the match on the ground breaking ‘Swans TV’ (a hybrid of CCTV & Teletext) or whatever it was at the time having a drink and at one game (can’t remember the opposition) I had to vote for the official MoM which was then announced over the tannoy and one day I said Kris O’Leary who’d had a shocker !!

So funny to hear the North Bank booing and swearing when MoM was announced it was the highlight of the day (didn’t take a lot to beat the quality of the football mind you ) !!

I wish Kris all the best in his new role he coached my son at the Academy in his first year with the Club after his playing retirement down in the Scarlets ‘barn’ happy memories indeed 👍👊
