British football is getting increasing political and forcing fans to "show respect" for all sorts of things. The list is getting bigger and the commitment required is increasing.
- i lost £150 going to Birmingham "showing respect" MANDATORY

I was given abuse by my Welsh nationalist mate at the Millenium stadium "giving respect"
when Princess Margaret died. I had no respect for her at all.
This is football no place for respect. That is why I am £150 out of pocket.
I wear a poppy myself on occasions and donate but it is not mandatory outside football and sport. I could of course chose not to go.

Sadly some of the 1000 s with postponed operations will also have to as you put "get over it". There may even be some who do not "get over it".
Only perhaps a dozen or so with no access to private health. |
They shouldn't have to "get over it", their postponement is ridiculous.

Without a doubt. We seem to have some common ground. I do respect the right of people to respect. I simply request the number of issues football takes on board to respect are kept to minimum. "Global" issues are normally driven by USA interests and are not UK business. | |
