The problem is the expectation amongst the shallow thinkers for greater and continued expenditure on players, with the regular and tedious allegations of asset stripping, profiteering and so on that follow when it doesn't happen.
It really is quite staggering that a club which has nearly gone to the wall twice through overspending, and less than fifteen years ago proved that you could make it to the top by being smart rather than extravagant, has so many supporters who would cheerfully do the former again whilst believing the latter to be impossible.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Some may be new, others have been around a lot longer and don't have that excuse.

One could look at the statement and read a vote of confidence in RM from our owners across the pond, while it would be nice to know where inside the football club Silverstein's loan note has been uttlized.

Being a solid premier league team not long ago,…it’s not easy to accept mediocrity
May we always have ambition.
May we always be a child
May we always gave the courage
To let our dreams run wild
