Russell Martin will especially be happy to hear the overwhelming support he has from Silverstein and the American majority ownership. 1 Ask Jake, click above.

| Russell Martin is a true football visionary on 10:30 - Oct 23 by KeithHaynes | You are probably on about the manager. If that’s the case I would say he has been at the club long enough to preside over the first derby double and currently to lead the club to the higher echelons of the championship. Not forgetting the recent fantastic run of results not seen in a very long time. |
The double was nice. Right now, at this moment,he has won nothing. He might buzz off before the season ends which would see his phase /project terminated. Then a new coach comes in. No way, will he have the love Russ has MRtin is beyond criticism

I think he admits himself that football has come into his life later than most, I think he’s only taken an interest in the sport in the last 6 years or so, 2015 or something like that. He’s an investor more than a football man. A good ambassador for the club but his views on Russell aren’t more accurate than anyone else’s simply due to owning a chunk of the club. I wouldn’t break my heart if Jake jettisoned us from his life either

He’s great, nice bloke and very enthusiastic apparently. But other peoples views on football aren’t going to be making me re-think mine. [Post edited 20 Jun 2023 19:21]
