| 3 Boys aged 8,11 and 12. on 12:03 - Dec 13 by controversial_jack | So what happens to all the ppl in trouble when the emergency services are not called. PPL in trouble get saved by passers by everyday of the year. I'm not saying i would be gung ho or would be anymore effective than anyone else, but I would do my best the same as anyone in here would. I helped talk a guy down from jumping off llangyfelach bridge a while ago. I also called the police and it took them half an hour to respond. Myself and some others did our best and it worked, before the police even arrived |
You truly are something. You speak out of total ignorance People … Absolutely stand by and allow that to happen . It’s the case when people are assaulted. People stand and look or ignore You debase good professional people and frankly,my skin is crawling with your disgusting ,perverse garbage . I ll end by calling you a liar We re done

| 3 Boys aged 8,11 and 12. on 11:53 - Dec 13 by Fireboy2 | At the double fatal incident I went to recently, people in cars just drove past the incident not giving a flying fvck, all they were bothered about was getting home, it's lucky the three very brave people stopped their cars on the slip road of the motorway and got out tp try and help, if it weren't for those three two more people would have died. Yes some people would try and get the kids out but most people would sh!t themselves, the emergency services are trained to go into situations like that and we also have the equipment that makes it safer for us to enter freezing cold water, people have drowned doing exactly what you would do. |
Quite right there are a few GMP in my running club who ran towards the MEN when others were fleeing. Bravery incalculable

Oi butt, I've helped people and the police have stood by and watched, I attended to a road traffic accident biker who was in the middle of the white lines and at the same time as seeing to him (making sure he didn't take his helmet off after he started to come round) I directed traffic around him for about 20 mins until the ambulance turned up and took him away, for the last 10 minutes of that time the police turned up and stayed at the side of the road talking to the public, whether they thought I was some kind of accident expert, traffic organiser and paramedic all rolled into one or something I don't know but I was left there on my todd. Years later I found out about alleged police corruption around that accident, somebody involved was closely related to the police chief, I was shocked when somebody approached me asking me about court case years later and said to me if I knew what really went on, the police hey. The police are just a reflection of society they come from society, that is what a regimental sergeant used to tell me about squaddies anyway, some good police, some bad police, same as the general public some good and some bad, you seem to think that members of the general public won't help each other, they do, I have helped people in difficulty quite a few times in my life, you thinking the public wait for the emergency services is nonsense, there isn't time sometimes, I pulled somebody out of an upside burning car on a lonely country lane a few years ago, some people will help people for no pay OHL and not expecting any praise either although I'm sure a thank you would be appreciated.

I've no idea what I would do in that situation. I have jumped in a lake to rescue someone else's puppy when it was clearly panicking (it's stupid owners were just stood on the side) but that was the middle of summer, on a lovely warm day) until we're faced with that, who knows how we'd react ? Hope I never find out
