How anyone is able to hand on heart say they think where we are 18 months down the line is anywhere near good enough I just don’t know.
I don’t really care we are out of the cup if I’m being honest, but it’s certainly a microcosm of the season so far and indeed the season we endured last season.
Remember, we wrote a whole season off for this season. That was the plan according to some, write a whole season off so we can approach this season and attack it. The more this season goes on, the more you realise (although I said it at the time) how that notion was ridiculous.
You don’t write a season off and come mid-table, just to come mid table the following year and be happy with it.
It’s nonsense, it’s all nonsense and it’s tiresome.

Tonights ticket cost me double , I bought my seat earlier then two grandsons decided they wanted to go early evening tonight so I bit the bullet and bought 3 seats together , fair play the youngest one must have been wearing a thermal suit because the cold didn't faze him unlike myself and his brother . | |

Doesn’t really work like that though, Burnley are top of the table now for example. We are mid table.
But yes the league is where it counts, but that’s where most of my complaints originate.
99 points from 73 games. 1.35 points per game. 62 points per season average.
62 points will get you on average 14th position.
