I watched the cardiff game then onto the Burnley game . The obafemi reaction, I hate the guy. What a bellend, he should be taken to court for breach of contract or we should bring him back and let him rot in the reserves. We were playing reading and I shouted at him from the east stand and he give me a look , he was hooked 10 mins later. Obafemi is a gold digger end of

Yeah, boll*cks. Never gave less than 100% for us on the pitch. Treated with disdain by Martin and far from alone in that.

Mate obfemi 3 goals in the championship did you watch the Ireland games? How many chances or goals did you see like his screamer. He had his head turned for more money. Or are you saying he would of taken a pay cut???

Mate, I watched Obafemi play. Never failed to chase down defences, never failed to work his balls off in every appearance. You can fall for the nonsense that he downed tools as much as you like, but it bears precisely zero relevance to the reality. Three goals given the way we play and the total lack of respect given to him by our dickhead of a manager is probably about as good of a return as we could have got.

I showed a slide the other day of our usual most frequented attacking positions. It’s so far from the opponents goal it’s frightening. I would hate to be a striker in our team. I think we rank 3rd from bottom when it comes to touches in opposition box and the most touches in the opponents 6 yard box comes from our CB Harry Darling. Which shows the only times we frequent that danger zone is set pieces. We play so narrow with no focussed attacking width. And look at the possession in our own box, it’s terrifying. This is how it should look: Attacking possession frequenting the opposition box, our own possession well away from our box with a clear gap between defence and keeper, wide angles of attack. Sadly our tactics are all sorts of wrong, and he can’t figure out why.

That map looks back to front. The last game all we done was attack to manning cross x 10

As much as I blame Obafemi for not knuckling down and committing to the team, I have to say I never saw a time he was on the field when he wasn't 100% committed

Why would I look at his face when I can look at the rest of him? There is simply no sensible doubt that Michael Obafemi gave everything had when on the pitch for SCFC.

It does, that’s the issue. We spend more time in our own box than the oppositions.

All down to Obafemi when he refused to play. Which was a waste as when he did play he gave 100 %

I would have treated him the same way, he was a constant disruption, mimicking behind peoples backs and a constant source of ‘look at me’ undermining and self indulgent. Granted he had his moments, but it was Swansea that handed him a lifeline. He abused that trust. I would imagine he is a good mate to have around, his character is no doubt likeable, but he didn’t fit the managers idea of what a professional is. A disruptive person in a group that wants to learn blocks that learning with their behaviours. It will always be a source of discussion. For me he gave his all for him, not for Swansea.

He was dropped first, then mutually decided to not play. But he was (is) an extreme man child.

You can question his attitude off the pitch all you want. I will maintain that it takes two to tango and it's far from a coincidence that Russy has fallen out with more players than Garry Monk, but that's by the by. Claiming that he didn't give his all whenever he crossed the white line is simply trying to rewrite reality to suit the narrative people are trying to push though. There was never, ever any lack of effort from him when he played.

I thought he put a shift in when he played, he had his lazy moments and likes to throw his hands about but I think he always done as much as others atleast on the pitch. Its the issues off the pitch that was his issue, he needed a new start and hopefully he sorts himself out because he was a mess here and was messing others up aswell.

There is no question he gave everything on the pitch my problem is his behaviour off the pitch, I can't be bothered to go into it as it winds me up. I'm just glad he's gone as he isnt disrupting training sessions when he actually turned up, good riddance.

When you say "fallen out with players" what does that actually mean?

Obafemi - money grabber who was self obsessed, although great on the pitch, disgusting attitude off it Paterson- another money grabber who spat the dummy when the club wouldn't give him what he wanted. Piroe - arrived thinking he was already the finished article. Brought down to earth by Martin and a better player for it. Any others that Martin has fallen out with ? Certainly players he rarely / didn't use, but that is a different issue
