All in, he was asking to be paid in accordance to the highest paid earner at the club.....that was never going to happen.

| Ryan Manning leaving on 16:57 - Feb 20 by Joesus_Of_Narbereth | We aren’t that limited in attack. There are over 20 teams in this league who haven’t scored as many goals as we have. It’s quite rare we don’t score at least 1 in a game. We scored 3 at home and lost the other day. The pressure is created by us giving the ball away in stupid areas. Having a keeper that scares the shite out of everyone any time the ball goes within twenty metres of him. Having three six foot plus centre backs who can’t deal with simple crosses into the box. My biggest criticism of Russell Martin and this squad is they just don’t learn from their mistakes. We are making the same mistakes now 18 months into “the process” as they were making on day 6 of “the process”. Cut out the mistakes, learn from them and we would be a very very good team at this level. |
In defence of Fisher (because someone has to) his distribution of the ball is generally very good. He likes a quick throw out, and his kicking is usually accurate, even if he has to put some lift on it. It's dealing with crosses where he struggles, and a big chunk of me is convinced that a lot of that is down to the generally dishevelled state of our back line anyway. Our biggest problem as I see it is that we spend far too much time with the ball in our own half, almost as deep as our final third and that just invites the press. When we get forward we're capable of being decent, although the obvious lack of pace and width restricts what we can do. Having said that, I suspect that if we tightened up at the back under current management we'd lose a lot going forward. Piroe can look isolated enough as it is.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

“We aren’t that limited in attack. There are over 20 teams in this league who haven’t scored as many goals as we have.“ Less than 20.

We are fifth highest scorers. Which when you consider our position is excellent. Only Burnley, Sheff Utd, Middlesbrough and Sunderland have scored more than us.

That’s why I said less than 20. But scoring the 5th highest amount is useless when you concede the 2nd highest amount.

Just saying what we had achieved. And agree if the defence had done it's job as well we would be doing a lot better.

Which is why we need a manager who knows what he’s doing.

Which is why we need owners prepared to act. If you insist that we need a manager who knows what he is doing, then only the owners can action that. Circle of managerial life. There's a song there somewhere

Why? You said that you like the manager. If you like him then why do you want them to sack him?

I like lots of people. Might even like you if we met. Doesn't mean I support everything you say or do though. Same goes for Martin. Can be very frustrating a lot of the time, but while he is our manager he will have my support. The owners, however, are a different kettle of fish. I have personally met Levien and Kaplan in the days they used to come to games and I cannot say I liked or trust either of them with our club

Spot on post, but id like to add the coach killing basic errors that our defence have made which have cost us dearly.
