Why spoil a good thread with your dislike of Martin. Why not tell us of your experience of the day

O often reflect which was most joyous ; the Preston win or the Premier League play off win. I cant separate them. We have moved on as individuals I’m glad we are still around to argue about it all.

| 42 years ago today on 21:18 - May 2 by NotLoyal | Odd decision to make by Blackburn fans, didn’t they have cars up there in 1981 ? |
Thought it odd at the time, but they were definitely Blackburn fans.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

| 42 years ago today on 08:24 - May 3 by swancity | A memorable day. I was standing if I recall correctly roughly in line with the edge of the penalty area at that end of the pitch opposite the dug outs. Most Swans fans of the 10,000 est there were behind the goal. Great days indeed. Then replicated in 2011 although nothing can or will ever beat the Toshack days. |
I'm afraid I have very little to contribute except that I listened to the match outside the house whilst myself and a neighbour friend fitted some old carpet inside my very battered but much loved MK1 cortina estate , a lovely sunny day, a pristine interior, which bared some similarity to my hall , ending up sinking a couple of bottles of Hofmeister each in joyous celebration ?

Carpet in a car Memories. I had an MGB convertible in the late sixties. Loved it but the roof leaked as did the windows so I used my mums old carpets to help mop up the damp. The girls I had in it reckoned I or the car stank of mould. When I say “ had” I mean in the pure sense
