He's scored one more goal this season than Jerry Yates, who is apparently absolute garbage and should be playing at least one division lower.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Piroe signed for the highest bidder for his services.
Swansea sold to the highest bidder as he would be out of contract at the end of this season.

He can BS as much as he wants about the manager, vision etc and all the rest of it.

Leeds are a bigger club than Swansea, plus they pay more in salary and transfer fees.

That’s the truth of it.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

All comes down to money if we could of offered him 2k more than leeds a week he would be saying how much he 'loves' the club and area.

Who ever thinks Yeates is bad at the moment. Will be singing his name as soon as he hits a purple patch that is coming soon!

I do but if or when he comes good I will be happy.
Fan ,see.
It’s how we really feel
Up and down
Light and dark
Overreact all the time
The day we all agree and get passive will be the death of the club
Forum aggrandising is all to prevalent

I could go to this game and might but it ll be last minute . I won’t be drinking with anyone as I’ve lost my Jack chum here on Wirral and having read these forums for too long ,it doesn’t really seem an attractive proposition .

I’m just hoping my Hudds chum is still around in April and might actually spend the afternoon with him and his mates in the home end at the JS .

He was 10th in the top scorers list last season with 15 goals. If he repeats that this time, I’d class that as a decent return.

I think there’s more to him if we play to his strengths though.

Pires also not playing as a striker but he couldn't lace his boots

I don’t think anyone is claiming he’s better than Piroe. If he was he’d be at a Leeds or a Leicester or in the PL.

Cabango, Pato and Grimes have been given a rest as being Krap.
Some supporters need a player to slag off and Jerry has fallen into that category.
It'll be someone else's turn if he starts bagging a run of goals.

True enough.
However the real fan,the true fans never slag off anyone ,ever ,anywhere
Players that get slagged off can ram criticising down throats so go Jerry, do it.

Slagging off is getting slagged off

Cabango before his injury was much improved. Patterson this season is no comparison to last and Grimes IMO is only criticised when he plays with Fulton and this is not his decision.

As for Yates I still maintain that he goes missing in matches. If this is eradicated obviously I will stop criticising.

We have seen all the players mentioned Cabango, Grimes, Paterson and Fulton who have been criticised over a number of years have all been part of winning teams, if you include this year then you can include Yates in that list of players along with a number of other players. Remember even Lati was given some begrudged praise at the end of last season
Duff attempt to find his most consistent team this year has been seriously been hampered by the loss of some "Key" players and maybe with him trying to protect some of the younger players. In trying change games he has made the wrong descions on players selection maybe he felt he had very little of options open to him.
We have seen Yates having good games scoring goals making a nuisance of himself and in other games what would seem senseless run but is he only doing what is asked of him by the manager and how he fits into the team around him also pick again by the manager.
You would expect a good player to adapt to the players around him over time and with some stability in a settled team were the manager and the players can sort out any issues.
Sometimes players including Yates are just worked out by the team they are playing against and change is needed, Yates has been substituted a number of time to the benefit of the team.
What may be a bit of a worry is that Yates has been part of a relegated team scoring goals but in some ways being unable to help the team overall.

Possibly Yates shone in a very poor team last season, he scored nearly a third of all their goals and they had a goal difference of -24. Now he in my opinion playing with better players and we have several goal scoring opinions he doesn't stand out.

The mix of players in the team isn't isn't quite right it has been affected by injuries, early on it was missing suitable players on the left and is the right hand side really an effective attacking force, would be tempted if players are fit in playing Key in front of Ashby which was afford either player to push forward with pace with both being able defenders if pressed by better team would bolster the defensive element while also leaving the middle midfielders players to work more effectively pushing forward to keep pressure on the opposition and supporting Yates, Lowe and Paterson on the left has been quite effective defensively.
Remembering under Cooper we protected our full backs Naughton and Manning with Roberts and Bidewell, who weren't as effective going forward as Lowe and I think Key would be.
The right mix of players from the players we have available?
