Chris Martin scored again today , 9 in 17 with 4 assists .

League One obviously but a better bet to bring on if you need a goal than Kelman ... IMO

I’ve got stuff in the fridge more likely to score than Kelman but wheeling out Martin for another four months would still be embarrassing.

What's even more embarrassing is persevering with a striker who has been here for what is his fourth season at this level, nearly always started when available, but has barely improved, yet is being handsomely remunerated.

Contrast that with Hardie at Plymouth, playing his first season at championship level, or Thomas-Asante who cost WBA about £300,000 and just in his second season playing at this level, both of whom are currently scoring at rates that Dykes will never achieve. The much derided Will Keane is scoring at an excellent rate this season too for Preston on the back of performing well last season at Wigan.

Stick with what we have as strikers and we're down. At least Martin averaged a goal in four for us, which is a huge improvement on Dykes' embarrassing strike rate this season in the league.

That Asante is a tragedy, £300k, if these guys have been auditing for a year, they rumbled LF, that’s why he scarpered!

Chris Martin has got nothing left in his fridge and he went out food shopping this evening.

Doesn't mean he wouldn't be an improvement on what we've got, as it proved last time around, embarassing or otherwise!

Reality of the overall embarassing situation in which we find ourselves!

Jamal Lowe scored too.

The crucial goal last season was Lowe assisting Martin for away win at Burnley.

Past history though now.

Was always going be difficult this season with no money to spend
