Russia TRIPLING its defence budget then on 11:35 - Feb 17 by SullutaCreturned | Where do you get your numbers from? Pravda maybe? All I can find is Ukraine has lost around half a million with Russia losing about 400k. Those volunteers you mention, 16k per month, if they haven't lost so mnay troops and are winning so easily, why do they need so mnay fresh troops? If Ukraine has nne why (given your claims on the numbers) has Ukraine not been swatted aside by now? Russia tripled it's defence budget, got prisoners to fight and is begging for volunteers; not exactly signs that things are going as smoothly for the Russians as you always claim. There's no doubt the Russians are gaining ground but it is costing them dearly. |
Putin has also been begging on his knees to Kim Jong Dong for help. Not a sign that things are going well.

Russia has had an artillery advantage of 10 to 1.Artillery claims more casualties than anything else, hence the high Ukranian and low Russian casualties

Well as I posted the numbers aren't that much different, 500k versus 400k, roughly. Of course thats talking about military casualties, there have been a large number of civilian deaths.

The ALLEGED 10:1 advantage in artillery included world war II stock held in Russian reserves. Those field guns were un-maintained and had a short range and were very inaccurate. Ukraine forces concentrated on taking out the more modern Russian equipment, but did not let oportunity go by when the short range stuff was easy to take out. Every semi-reliable source of data has said that the Russians have taken greater casualties ...but Ukraine has a smaller pool of men and so they will ultimately suffer the most. The most recent Russian gains have been made as the Ukraine forces have struggled with a deficit of shells and the Russian use of their own version of GLSDB's. You have repeatedly demonstrated that you know nothing of kinetic action other than the propaganda that you read. Russia may still yet prevail, unless Ukraine gets more ordnance, but none of the rubbish you spout is relevent to the success of either side.

Even if the old guns you allege were inaccurate, it doesn't matter, they can still hit concentrations of troops and equipment. Russia has satellites and can see and pinpoint anything on the battlefield. It's impossible for Russia to have taken more casualties if they have that artillery advantage - it simply can't be possible. You are correct in stating the Ukraine has not enough shells, even if it did, it would still be at a 10 to 1 disadvantage. The Ukraine doesn't have any reserve troops, it's formations have been thinned out and the average age of soldier has increased considerably. Russia however, doesn't have that problem. It's over, the Ukraine has lost. Yes. there are rearguard actions and pockets of resistance still, but the barttles are over

And for what? It’s completely pointless. All this death and destruction because a baldy mad little aging midget is worried his penis isn’t big enough.

Think he’s got a fetish for the bad guys. He probably sat in the cinema and burst into tears when Darth Vader chucked Palpatine down the big shaft, cried his eyes out when they caught the Yorkshire ripper and cheered when the dog died in Marley and Me.

The pilot was in a crew of three, The other two were not part of the deal but ended up dead. The story is the other crew were killed in a shoot-out once the chopper had landed in Ukraine. This does not sound like a great plan as the pilot had to concentrate on flying and the other two may have been armed. The other two may not have been aware they were in Ukrainian territory on arrival and only told when surrounded by Ukrainian troops. This sounds very dangerous and surely the two would have surrendered unless one was a co pilot and able to fly the chopper. If I was the defector it would have been easier to shot the two others ast an optimum time when they were not armed or aware of any scheme. He could have told them but they rejected this and he shot and injured them them before they got to Ukraine. The Ukraine secret service would in their plan would not want a shootout on arrival. Of course I am not a man of violence and just thinking of the logistics. The defector took two of his workmates to the deaths. Were they ever given the option of life.? Ukraine would not fabricate this story. They want to encourage other Russians to do the same someone being found dead is not good PR. [Post edited 21 Feb 18:57]
