It was what used to happen under Martin, Cabango was used on the left of the back 3 and struggled badly against quick wingers.

He should have changed it after 10 minutes we were getting murdered down the right ,played wrong players out position,we were lucky to be still onlyb2 down..another day would have been 6 at that stage,he left it late to change it ,when he had nothing to lose.. | | | |

That’s fair. You never see changes after 10 minutes but I get your point. I expected to see subs at half time, even if it was just Allen for Fulton.
We’d have just made like for like changes last season. He changed it up for the last half hour and although it wouldn’t have been deserved, one of those goes in instead of hitting the post and we could well have sneaked a draw. | | | |

No manager will change things after 10 mins unless there's an injury or red card. Well, maybe Clough would have but he was a maverick and you dont get managers like him these days.

He’s in quite a good position. There are no expectations of playoffs and only the ultra negative really think we’re relegation candidates.
He just needs to pick up a couple of wins to make absolutely sure and then he’s got a free hit to mould his squad for the rest of the season.
Priority should be working out who we are keeping, getting them under contract and sourcing replacements for those that will leave. | | | |

If you are going to give credit to Williams for the second half then you must see that he was somewhat responsible for the shambolic first half. He set the team formation up and the tactics from the start.
A bit early for anyone be in the “in Williams we trust” frame of mind in my opinion, exactly what he has done to gain anyone’s trust ? Two weeks running we have started off second best, Birmingham could have been out of sight by half time last week too. |  | | |

Yes, he should have started with a back 4. We have never doe well with wing backs and 3 CB's. Martin stuck with it and all our best performances came when we went back 4, as soon as we reverted we went rubbish again. We don't have any decent wing backs and we don't have 3 CB's who can play that way.
Any decent coach uses his resources to their best, square pegs in round holes was what cost us the last 2 seasons, time to pick a formation and play a strategy that best suits our players.
The problem now is we have a weaker squad than last season. It's down to the owners what happens next. | | | |

Yes should started back four,but when he did change it,no way should darling done to right back and Ashby right midfield,darling should dropped back centre half pulled wood or humphreys off and dropped Ashby back in and put bit pace on the right of midfield,ti make Fraser and manning think a bit more.. | | | |
