Putting a serious hat on for a moment, the only thing I can think (and I could be well wide if the mark) is that he sees Yates needs to get confidence up. Many of the games this side of Christmas have been one which won’t define our season and today probably falls into that category.
Of course, there is such a thing as flogging a dead horse so this maybe one of his last chances, who knows.
No Fulton though. A step in the right direction I suppose. | |
