Gething is not the first politician to receive a personal donation for a leadership campaign and he won’t be the last, Liz Truss received over £500k in personal donations. What Gething has done isn’t illegal, but it doesn’t sit right with me. |
The problem is that it neatly illustrates how Wales is being run at the behest of certain special interests. If it isn't Sustrans managing our transport policy via its placeman Lee Waters it's stuff like this.
It's quite clear that one of the drivers behind expansion of the Senedd is so that they can do even more of it whilst securing themselves against being voted out of power. [Post edited 28 Feb 17:46]
