Not a joke…but notice there’s a lot of trees being cut down in the Swansea and M4 area.
Any idea why?

If you go up through mid Wales some areas are decimated. It will take many years to recover.

It was time to fell them, and re-plant. It’s a cycle.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It may also be the case that where trees at the side of the motorway grow beyond a certain size the Council, Trunk Road Agency or whoever will cut them down because of the risk they pose in the event of a collision, thinner saplings and trees will bend and break where as larger trees won’t give at all.

The council et al have to becareful because if they chop the trees down on the steep slopes adjoining many mountainous roads it could result in landslides when it rains heavily.

They were chopping them down on Fabien Way on the west side run into Swansea safternoon, pity they can't plant trees that'll take away the smell that often wafts over the road from the sewage plant
