I joined on and uparrowed too
Wonderful
Feel so much better after reading that
Did you see many shots at goal btw , you know the ones that see you win games
Not worried
Of course you're not

How many shots at goal did you see Perchy?

Less than three hours from the Wirral to Middlesbrough. Surely a diehard fan like yourself made the effort to go?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

O’Brien was the box to box engine that made us tick. It was no coincidence that his form and Sheehan taking over turned our season around.
I’d take O’Brien any day of the week.
We’ve got enough “Hollywood” type backers, to eventually circumnavigate PSR, just like Wrexham have done.
Nobody there seems to be worried about their club being bankrupted by signing LOb.
We’ve had 7 years in The Premier League, and now have very rich backers/ owners, who want to get back there.
Many may still think of us as little ol Swansea City, a backwater somewhere in South Wales, but these guys have a totally different mentality.
They want to monetise the golden ticket, that is The Premier League.
Whether you like it or not, they are pulling the strings.
They are putting in the building blocks to hopefully sustain us going forwards ie. Coaching, scouting, academy, (aiming for Cat 1) revenue streams like SD & Modric ect.
What’s not to like about all that ?

Fair post and I think I agree with you about O’Brien. I wasn’t sure at first, but now he is one if our missing links I feel.

However, I’d be interested to hear how our wealthy owners can circumnavigate PSR. Their wealth alone can’t do that, it will need to be done in commercial ways which of course they are starting to do but to reiterate, just being wealthy won’t / can’t help us.

Did anyone notice Cullen protesting vigorously to the referee yesterday when their keeper took a long time in possession of the ball. I was wondering what he was on about and had completely forgotten the new 8 second rule. A keeper now has to release the ball within 8 seconds or the opposition get a corner and it has to be implemented.

Apologies UJ it was not meant as a reply.

Middlesbrough beat Millwall 0-3 away yesterday. Puts a bit of perspective on our 1-0 defeat up there.

I don’t know how good they were or how bad Millwall were but they must have been better than when they played us. Them nor us covered ourselves in glory on opening day.
