Personally, I just don’t like formations that leave you outnumbered in midfield, regardless of the extra striker it gives you. Obviously it’s fine when you’re chasing a game late on.
Widdell or Cullen in between the midfield and Vipotnik I’d be much happier with. | | | |

Personally I’d still start Widell and bring Cullen on for him halfway through the second half when the gaps hopefully start to appear.
