Swansea City : Matos faces a huge test 18th Feb 2026 08:00
Swansea City set out on a journey of two home games over four days this coming Saturday and then Tuesday evening. Saturday brings Bristol City (12:30pm) and Tuesday, Preston North End (7:45pm) Both games are winnable of course but will prove a lot harder than the two against Portsmouth and Oxford United. 0

I can see the decision as what to do with Vipotnik being key in these three games starting on Saturday. There is no way he can play every minute of the three games and we don't have a recognised number 9 as back up. Will we start with Vipotnik every game then use Cullen off the bench or deploy a false 9 possibly Widell or Walta/Cullen. Big decisions to be made that can knock on to midfield selection, which Stamenic out it has to be Fulton or could there be major surprises.

We are playing well enough to finish mid table. 4-6 points next two games and hopefully the rest of the season should see us comfortable. No wins next two games and it will feel very uncomfortable.

It’s a bigger test than it needs to be
It shows the lunacy of loaning out B Wales
He might be raw , unready or callow but he’s a striker and we thought him to be a striker
Idah is clearly crocked and could be for the rest of the season YET we see this madness
Without VIP who scores? Ronald , EOM ?
We will no doubt see Cullen play 9 and be utterly neutralised by opposing centre half
We are not learning

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not
