Not wishing to be seen as pedantic but they don't Behead people in Iran as a rule - I think there's been one case in about 50 years since the Shah was deposed
Every other method of execution is used including slow strangulation hanging, throwing off tall buildings (which the delighful and cherished Palestinians also enjoy a spot of especially for homosexuals) and stoning to death but decapitation is more an Arab thing than a Persian thing- I think only Saudi still executes in this way, although my uncle was in Qatar with the Army in the late 70s and the Qataris were still doing the odd public beheading back then...
