A quick trawl of Wales Online and there's plenty of sex reoffenders in the news items...
It's tricky trying to get real concise data of reoffending rates for sex offences but it could be as high as 30%
I've said it before prison is not a deterrent for these type of animals that can't control their urges, rapists and nonces alike.
I don't know what the answer is but sticking them on remote island in a camp or chemical castration seems very appealing.

My doubts about the term "Sketty man" arise because I did not believe the offender to be a long-term resident of Dunraven Road Sketty. . It appears that as recently as 2022 Shahib lived in Bernard Street, Uplands, and registered a business connection to an Indian restaurant in Neath. He has been in the Swansea area since at least 2020, when reportedly he was twice cautioned by police for kerb crawling.

Apologies for the typo. The date should have been 2020 and comes from a Wales Online report of the court case which at least some on the thread will have taken the trouble to read.. I did not specify the exact Bernard Street address as it might affect current residents (not too hard to find with a Companies House web search though). Another search on that property to identify residents suggested there have been 12 electoral roll names in recent years, so probably a short term let.
To me, the two cases have a certain similarity in that both appear to involve persons of foreign cultural heritage who had had past contact with the police for putting young women at risk. As somebody else said this part of the thread appears to me to have very little substance so that is my last word on it. [Post edited 29 Apr 16:45]
