They were not aware that there was very rapid growth in offshore wind. The plan was for him to take a percentage of Crown Estates profits. There was one report I read that the pay award was double this but it was voluntarily cut from 25% to 11%. .
It shows again our leaders are clueless in a London cozy bubble. Wales hands over all it's advantages to,England and always have.

Scotland gat the money for offshore wind as they took cover Crien estates in Scotland. Reform are English and oppose this plan and preferred to give the money to the King than come off bills. It is an investment to make more money not a charitable gift. It is good news never the less as he is getting his money to work and expand . Affordable housing is quite a lucrative market to be in and does provide homes. Green energy is also profitable.
It hard to see what they do with all that money other than to pass it down the family line. With that sort of money I would restore old historical buildings to their former glory. |  |

I wish Catherine all the best and have nothing against her personally, but you can't ignore the history. That title goes all the way back to 1301 when King Edward I conquered Wales, killed the last WELSH prince, and gave the title to his own son just to show who was boss. So when it gets handed down today without anyone here getting a say, it just feels like that same old royal privilege being forced on us from London.
