| Infrastructure Hacks 18:00 - Oct 14 with 1167 views | JACKMANANDBOY | So Musk turns off Skylink and French Supermarkets get their freezers turned up to 50 degrees C. How long before a piece of critical UK infrastructure gets hacked; banking, water, gas, electric, NHS, fuel etc. Do we need to get back to locally run services and intranets etc. [Post edited 14 Oct 18:02]

When you connect your phone to a Tesla the technology is there to draw and save to a central computer system absolutely everything that is stored on that phone. Although it would be illegal to collect and store that information, do you trust Musk not to do it.

Here's the evidence that data is collected. https://www.independent.co.uk/

I wouldn't trust anyone not to do it, but Musk bothers me less than the likes of Facebook and Google. If what you're using is free, then you and your data are the product. At least Musk makes most of his cash by selling actual things.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I think Musk has say in several social platforms, and I think changes with Meta profiles are in the pipeline soon. [Post edited 17 Oct 11:59]

He owns Twitter, and has done a lot to sell people "premium" memberships allowing longer posts and stuff like that. Not aware of him having any say in any others. Meta is Facebook isn't it?

They all bother me. We've seen what AI has been doing even when it is supposed to be contained. Just wait til it's fully developed and criminals get their hands on it, and please don't anyone try to say it won't happen. There will be a version of armageddon one day, it'll be the day they have to turn the internet off because technology has become the biggest risk to humanity. Imagine that happening one night and the Uk woke up to no internet, no mobile phones or ipads/laptops. What woukd young people do, how would we pay for stuff, how would anybody find out anything. There's be riots in some places but most people would spend the day refusing to believe it had happened and standing around stupified.
| Infrastructure Hacks on 02:03 - Oct 21 with 170 views | Robbie | Got the stage I really cannot be bothered to look at my phone buzzing on alerts forever . If I recognise the caller by name on my screen I will reply , if not into the bin sharpish . Sadly how many people are being taken for dodgy phone calls , I have been there and a heads up to HSBC Fraud team who did query an authorished payment from my account I had no idea of this transaction ever and stopped immediately . Bigger picture is my viewing on my laptop , my phone and smart tele and You Tube linked . Time to call in Mulder and Scully to investigate . | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It will happen one day. Keep plenty of cash under the bed.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
