Our homegrown should ease a little with Lissah back.

Ronald isn’t though apparently. Out for a while with a hamstring tweak.

Cameo maybe but with a winning goal and a credible performance as a right back ,he'll be missed imo.

Bloody shame for him and the team but at least he wont be getting any flak from the keyboard warriors.

Was he one of those pesky international players or do players get injured anyway.

Back on topic.

Its great to have stewart back, in his first appearance v millwall he looked quite sharp, I can see him scoring a few for us this season.

The "discussion" was actually on Ronald out for 6-8 weeks.

On the subject of Ronald I will hold my hands up and admit to being one of his biggest critics, mainly on the basis that he has offered very little attacking threat since joining bar the odd game here and there. I want a winger to create chances and cause defences problems which did not happen last season in my humble defence.

I think he has now found his position as a right back or wing back and I am fully behind his new role and he looked like a player on Saturday so long may that continue.

Yeo, Opoku and Eom are a much better option going forward, hope Ronald recovers quickly as he can and is adding much more value in his new roles as super sub and last week showed he can be a useful wing back too.

Never doubted him for a minute

As said by others previously Ronald needs the ball early to run at players. At full back he gets it early and has the length of the pitch to run, we saw the benifits last week.

Shame about the hamstring. Quite a few on here have previously advocated trying him as a wing back. I would like to see him given another chance at wing back when he gets fit. He could be a decent option even though he would not be top of the pecking order when everyone is fit. Matos seems to like him though

If he is going to start, who would play in what formation to give him the best chance on his assets

Same formation, not saying he will, just something I think would put the opposition in a bit of a panic. Same position as Idah and Vipotnik. Get the best out of him whilst he is fit.
