Great song - great band

I always liked this one of theirs...

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Nice one J.
Funny thing is that I liked a few Sad Cafe songs and never realised that it was the same guy fronting Mike and the Mechanics. Not bad having Paul Carrack as backing singer as well innit

Given it a few spins on Spotify today - first impressions are good, definitely their most ambitious album to date, more of an electronic/dance vibe going on; certainly not resting on their laurels and putting out a 'safe' record. Will take a lot of listens to take it all in.

Listened to it a few times now. Agree with what you said. I suppose they had to follow it up with an ambitious one with all the new listeners they got from the suburbs, including me. Thumbs up from me though.

If you like kyuss maybe you would like Prosperina. They are a local band managed by the guitarist of former Swansea band liberty37.(Some nice shots of Port Talbot at night in vid)

Kyuss. Awesome band, guitarist was Josh Homme who went on to be main man with Queens of the Stone Age.

And re: the cult vid, I'm a great believer in stage/instrument destruction, so s'all good with me.

On another note, saw this vid on you tube and have to say, music class in school has certianly moved on a bit since I was there...
