Wieghorst could be the worst appointment in our recent history. Certainly the most pointless. Probably appointed to bridge the Laudrup gap in communication and as longer term succession planning, his appointment coincided (??) with our total slump in form and change from the playing style that had captivated us all. I do wonder about his role in our current predicament.
