Stadium Parking 15:27 - Mar 14 with 3812 views | cockneyswan | That old chestnut, after getting another fine for parking on the grass by old ski jump, I think it’s time to find a better parking option. Any advice welcome north east of stadium preferable.

Stadium Parking on 15:58 - Mar 14 with 3765 views | cbrace1 | Usually use the train for games, but friends have used various places. Car park just before the Railway as you walk up the hill is big. £5 but takes a while to get out of the car park itself but close to stadium. Others have parked in the Coopers for same price, otherwise best bet is to park on the hill next to the park as you walk past the Coopers

Supposed to be limited to 90 minutes, does anyone ever get fined?

Probably be on "Can't pay we will take it away" shortly like the guy in Townhill who ignored £1,000 of parking tickets because someone told him private parking tickets were not enforceable.

As an aside, I was in Canterbury last month and in a Council Pay and Display car park were two foreign cars, both had parking tickets issued. I wondered if it was just ignorance of the law (naively), but my Mrs pointed out that they will probably go back over the Channel and that the tickets would not be enforceable. Anyone know ? Edit: Only in Britain could this happen http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-2713281/Parking-fines-issued-non [Post edited 16 Mar 2018 9:17]
