When this is all over and if the Lagoon would happen to go ahead , Wouldn't it be great if the could build a cable car system along the full stretch of he bay or even a maglev train system circling Swansea and possibly branching out to areas surrounding the city. I'm sure swansea could be just has busy as places like Bournemouth, Brighton etc. Obviously if we could get the investment, this would create employment and a vibrant City.

Will there be any money for development after this is all over? We'll have lost all the Structural Funds from the EU too, which have propped up much of the Swansea development over the last decade. I can't see those funds being replaced by Westminster as we can't even get our one major rail line upgraded and after Covid-19 it looks like the government might have to go for austerity+++.

That is a big worry. I honestly think Swansea council were trying hard to regenerate the area, this recession could result a severe delay to anything happening.

Serious amount of construction, ruining the bay. If there was a way we could get say a mono rail type affair and the widening of promenade to accommodate the lycra clad wannabe Geraints that would be an improvement.

Bugsy Siegel had a dream that was realised . With a bit of forward planning that beach front could be Wales' Las Vegas -the council could take a percentage of the "Take" to cover their costs -Job's a good un. Imagine..........

Yes if only one of Swansea's few redeeming qualities had been irreversibly destroyed to make room for thousands of tonnes of concrete, whilst making electricity more expensive for those in the city.

Underrated post.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
