But what right do they have to tell people what they can do in their own home?

Provide covid secure offices, allow people in them, then they have a right to dictate.

Another lunatic labour council, they wonder why they won’t get into government any time soon.

What have I told you about your blood pressure Andrew?

How on Earth would they enforce it anyway? Would the council send somebody sneaking around peeping through windows?

If you’re in your own house you can sit there smoking a hookah pipe dressed in a frogman suit if that’s what tickles your fancy... or Tuesday as I like to call it.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

I see him as more retro,

http://www.actionmanhq.co.uk/figures/deep-sea-diver/index.html

Though it makes the smoking more difficult!

PS, on the OP, it's just daft. I know the law says no smoking at your workplace but theydon't even pull van drivers over for having a puff. Haven't we got bigger concerns?

We have a government completely so dumb it’s pitiful ,so naive ,so lacking in reality.

Few have really quarantined or self isolated.

Masks are not enforced so therefore meaningless.

We are pitifully stupid.

We are killing ourselves by stupidity

This local council is beyond dumb,as if it could be enforced.

I didn't, I love all things nautical now but back then I preferred to have the tank and armoured car.

http://www.actionmanhq.co.uk/action-man-vehicles/armoured-car-1960s/index.html

I had one of these too,

https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-action-man-scorpion-tank-17789797

I wish I'd kept them now, they sell for silly amounts these days. Very collectable apparently. That's true of a lot of my childhood toys mind

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

If you put the hookah pipe on where the air tanks are and linked them to the regulator you could carry it around with you, you could smoke whilst walking the hounds!

Loved my Action Man in the 70s. Had the armoured car too (c1973), but never got the Scorpion or the Sea Wolf sub. Also had a massive array of toy soldiers and armour (including inheriting my father's from the 1950s. Had four collections- WW2 (including a prized Kettenkrad), American Civil War, Napoleonic War and Knights. All of which made me want to learn more, not turn into a violent maniac.
Perhaps there is something in that?

They’d all be worth a small fortune now if you’d kept hold of them up the attic. The prices they make on the collector’s market can be eye-watering.

Did you have the interceptor with the big missile too?

UFO scared the life out of me. Bought a Space 1999 Eagle T shirt which has been a lock down staple!
