You must be joking surely?
Show me the proper science behind hospitality closures?
Don't even bother looking pal, same as the absolute tripe the R number is currently on..
It's utter rubbish , run along take your vax, and still wear masks..
Sheep will be sheep
Oh here we go, hes back again.
Fwiw, a colleagues wife works in preston royal hospital, she has told him there is more covid patients there this week than at its height in march/april, over 250 atm.
I do wonder why.
That's why we should be locking down.

What on earth is wrong with someone having a drink with their meal, before 6 pm?
It doesn't stop there though, because many will take the piss , get bladdered, forget the restriction and start socialising and spread the virus.
I agree, it does sound draconian, but a few spoil it for the others, and the govt has had to take a sledgehammer to crack a nut because of the selfish minority. Drakeford has been left with no option when he's sees case numbers rising again.
The govt has had clear data from SAGE showing that hospitality venues are a big concern

There are responsible drinking establishments and others not so much, unfortunately they all have to bear the brunt. Are you the poster who keeps getting smashed, making a fool of yourself online, then spend the next 24hrs, editing, deleting and apologizing?

There would be nothing wrong with having an alcoholic drink with a meal. Nothing at all. Instead the WG have shut a lot of venues by stealth.
It's the staff put on furlough at 80% of minimum wage I feel sorry for. Many of these will go into significant debt to pay for Xmas and take years to pay it off if they ever do.

And all because the results from a flawed testing system are rising, why are we still using a test that’s been proven unreliable and not fit for purpose, then you get this clown, remember when he said this? This undermines the whole situation even more.

Did you ask how many of them caught it in the hospital?

Had a few drinks? Yeah of course, that's why I'm just settimg to drive to work at 06.45.
Your above post shows that people like you are the reason why we are still in this sh!t
It's a sorry state of affairs, that you get accused of causing all these deaths, and the virus not going, just for questioning the science behind hospitality closures.

I asked, where is the science behind closing down, what you have said doesn't prove that the virus spreads in hospitality., that wouldn't be the reason because some pubs aren't conforming.

There is no science behind it. It’s just a completely arbitrary decision. If you’re at risk in a pub, you’re at the same risk in a hairdressers, the science wouldn’t differ. If anything people are closer to people for longer in a hairdressers, especially the way these ladies like to talk bollocks for hours.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The reality is that cases didnt increase when Hairdressers open but did when pubs reopened. In Hairdressers people wear masks and PPE. In pubs they dont. Why do you think England and Scotland have also closed pubs.

There’s no science to prove that the rise in cases were because people went to pubs. Correlation does not always imply causation. There are far too many variables in play. It’s nothing more than guesswork and supposition which is not good science.

The bigger problem is when people come out of pubs. Cardiff was unbelievable at 6pm yesterday. Pissed people piling out of pubs onto public transport with no social distancing and no face coverings. It was probably the same throughout Wales.

The Welsh govt have clear data from SAGE, showing that hospitality venues is a clear contributory factor

The one good thing to come out of this is he seems to have lost a lot of votes...the amount of people I've spoken to this week saying how angry they are, I will never vote that lot in again etc etc has been a breath of fresh air, people now starting to realise he and his colleagues are totally incompetent.

How is this data compiled? If you catch coronavirus there’s no way of being able to know where and off whom you caught it. You could have a day where you go to work in the morning spending all day with several other people, then go to a busy supermarket in the afternoon and a quick pint in the pub before going home to bed. If you then test positive a few days later it’s not necessarily being in the pub what done it. But the data would correlate being in a pub to testing positive when there were probably a hundred other opportunities to catch the virus. It’s simply not reliable. Think even when you’re social distancing how many people you come into contact with. There’s no way of knowing where or when you caught it. It’s nothing but guesswork.

There is evidence to show that when schools reopened in June figures didnt rise, when non essential shops opened it didnt rise, when tourism places opened it didnt rise. Within 2 weeks of pubs opening the figures tripled and the contact tracing were finding that the spread had occurred through people returning from abroad going into pubs and others houses and it has spread from there. Not scientific evidence but actual details given to contact tracers by those affected.
