Spoke to Keith earlier on,, apparently certain club people are looking at where the leak is regarding this news. I said ' Maybe look at the one who told you ' 😂

OK I've changed it.

Very often it’s the agents trying to drum up more interest.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

We don't use wingers.
I think Cooper is doing a great job.
I know football has moved on with different formations.
But I loved playing with wingers under Rodgers, very exciting to watch

A winger who can finish can oftentimes be converted into a striker, especially by a team set up to hit on the counter. Looking at his stats he's got a respectable goal rate from out wide, only slightly over 1 in 3.

Other option we've got is to use him as a wide forward and play Ayew through the middle. Ayew will wander of course, but if people are coached to move into the gaps he leaves it could work.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Swansea need to start preparing for the post Ayew era. there is no guarentee he would not sign a new deal even if SCFC is promoted.

I would hope IF we were to be promoted, we would not waste money and overpay on contracts. Like we did the last time we were in the Premier League.

Swansea took big transfer fees and used that money to bring in players on big wages on free transfers . It was a decent plan of operation.

Bony out. £28m .

In Gomis 4 year contract £60k pw £3m pa total £12m.
In Ayew 4 year contract £60kpw (2015) £3m pa total £12m combined = £24m.
Llorente 2 year contract £50pw? another sucessful signing.

Gomis was decent but not great in a stuggling side. Ayew has been persistenty good for Swansea apart from the relegation season. Llorente a a revelation.

Every time SCFC sold a big player the new signing was alway a risk. Some go wrong Borja and Bony 2. If Swansea get back it will need more Llorente signings.

Jenkins was spinning plates and they fell when two or three big signings failed simultaeously.

HJ was spending the clubs money to try and keep the club in the Premier league long enough to get his windfall.

Factor the Bony return into your calculations. £12M fee £5M a year for 4.5 years. My calculations £32.5M.

QUOTE "HJ was spending the clubs money to try and keep the club in the Premier league long enough to get his windfall."

That is not a fair assessement in my view. HJ still holds a stake in the club and stayed on as Chairman. Unlike footballers he actually resigned and was not sacked. He did not 'cut and run'.

Bony was a massive mistake clearly. He had a 2 year deal second time around. These thing happen to all clubs. Brendan signed Andy Carroll and Baloteli. Winners and losers. Klopp stand out as not making too many mistakes. His mistake tend to be cheap. The Bony transfer fee came from selling llorente to Spurs for the same cash. He hardly played at Spurs apart from one or two Champions league goals.

Jenkins was spending money on players Monk wanted ... typical lump it English style footballers.
We did well when we were different once we tried beating richer teams at their own game (especially Monk's borefest version) the writing was on the wall ... debt and demotion.
