| Foreign footballers on 04:08 - Mar 31 with 417 views | Jack59 | I think some peoples memories may not be too reliable on this subject. For many years, and in the years immediately before the EPL started, In European competitions with British participation, TV commentators regularly poked fun at the cheating antics of Italian, Greek,Spanish, and Eastern European footballers in particular, as well as those from other nations, but not too often from France, Germany, or the Scandinavian countries. There was then a period of transition during which time many great European players joined English clubs, the cheating in England reached much more advanced levels after their mass introduction to the English game, but because of the hype and success of the Premiership, cheating was now often overlooked by some English commentators for fear of it slowing down the EPL Gravy Train which has in fairness created hundreds, if not thousands of multi-millionaires since it's creation. | | | |

I cant' recall the like of Robbie,Curt ,Ante throwing themselves to the floor as is te norm now. If people cannt see this.FFS. It is grotesque. More skill but at a cost of honesty.

Have you heard of the invisible ships phenomenon, cited in several new-age books and movies? It goes like this: When Captain Cook/Columbus/Magellan (depending on the version of the story you're hearing) arrived at the coast of Australia/Cuba/South America, the native people completely ignored them, presumably because huge ships were so alien to their experience that "... their highly filtered perceptions couldn't register what was happening, and they literally failed to 'see' the ships." (Quoting here from JZ Knight's What the Bleep Do We Know?)

Knight is a complete fruitcake; she makes David Icke look like a well-rounded Stoic! You’ve got to tell me what you’ve been up to in stumbling across her.

Its down to referees to manage. Book the diver and only give stonewall penalties Easy. Both James and Shick threw themselves at defenders to trick the referee but he did not buy it.

100% agree. If its not a penalty then a yellow card should always follow or if deemed really sinister,a red. Connor was trying it on without question .
