When people talk about him they will almost certainly mention his many clubs and lack of goals along the way. Back in 2005 Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordan made mention of Wayne and his then pending transfer to Spurs. He didn’t hold back, and didn’t waste too many words either. 0 Click above for our Sunday Supplement Click below for Twitter

Very good clubman & for me welcome to join the coaching staff as & when his playing career ends whether that’s in June or a later date if he wants to keep playing (probably elsewhere).

A column based article giving an insight in to history and personal experiences of players andhow they have matured and developed is what we are all about 👠

Makes mistakes but that’s because he's courageous, looks like he makes more mistakes than he does because his football brain is premier league while those around him are Ryman's. Just like with Naughton a manager realises Routledge's abilities for too late in the season.

Fair enough Keith, although a more positively worded headline might have made it more reflective of his time with us.

Sunday is always a good day for a tabloid spin. 😉 But it was in quotes. When Wayne does stand down, he will get the full and proper, deserved treatment.

Thinking persons article today, the sort maybe people should enjoy reading and compliment the time taken to deliver it so succinctly. And take a bit of time to reflect. I thought it was a very complimentary piece on a great club man.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

There is a young man in Northern Ireland who has hopefully matured who might question this ascertion. Forums are unforgiving places. Good article though. Get Routledge on the staff. The thing I want to see is Knowledge experience leadership and a high IQ.

I think Routs is smart enough to have at least started them. At 36 he knows his playing days are nearly over, though as he showed yesterday he still has a lot to offer. I hated Routs when with Cardiff because he always turned up, he was a pain in the bum then and I was happy when he joined us because I knew how good he was. It's true though that not all players are a success everywhere they go. Routs needed a home which he found when he joined us.

The Leon Britton role has not been replaced. Birch considered he need the advice of player with the club from the glory years. I suspect Leon just got bored perhaps with paperwork and reports and computers after 15 years outdoors. A twin role of 50:50 coaching and research might suit. The coaching staff incliudes Tate and KOL but these were defensive briusers not the fine technicians of Britton and Routledge.

We all got excited over his performance against Reading last season. He got a new contract and yesterday was his first good performance of this season. Should be get a new deal again? Not for me. A solid thanks and a parting of the ways is needed.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I agree, as good as he's been for us he can't do it for a whole season and not even for 90 minutes on a more regular basis. We need to give our talented youngsters more chance. That means fewer loans too maybe. Oli Cooper will never blossom unless he gets time in the sun. Too many loans helps other teams more than it helps us. Take Brewster, a success here and it earned Liverpool 23 million. They would never have gotten that much for him if he'd been plodding around in their reserves. Still getting games at 36 shows his quality but it has to end somewhere.
