Scoring a crucial goal for the swans was all it took for the cowardly and criminal remarks to be posted on Instagram and Twitter. And all this on the weekend when thousands of social media accounts carried out their own action in support of anti hate messages.  0

Welsh rugby has never apologised about dancing on white only dancefloors leaving their dark skinned brothers at home.
Individual players have been given an easy ride and many get paid work in the media. I would have expected a WRU apology and apologies from the Welsh greats that went out there in 1974. Welsh rugby has never apologised about dancing on white only dancefloors leaving their dark skinned brothers at home.
Individual players have been given an easy ride and many get paid work in the media. I would have expected a WRU apology and apologies from the Welsh greats that went out there in 1974. They can do mate, but here is the problem. Facebook etc want warrants to disclose the information, they won’t just tell the relevant force or country who the people are. Due to these social media sites having their headquarters in USA, etc. The paperwork is an absolute minefield. You have to go via inter plod, then the relevant jurisdiction, then comply with their paperwork, and that takes months even for locating murderers. Facebook etc won’t even consider disclosing anything regardless of the investigation.

Perhaps it was someone who liked "Snoop dog" himself. He is advertising food takeaways (very well I must say) but is prone to a volley of racially sensitve words and phrases in his lyrics. He can do it as his 'global status' as a cultural icon allows it.
As mature person on the cusp of approaching middle age I can see no reason why he can use these phrases but as a red headed pale skinned formerly freckelly kid my sort cannot. Calling it cultural prividege in the spirit of art and culture is a bit of a stretch for me to be honest.
If it confuses me it surely confuse a 16 year old full of testosterone based bravery / foolishness and a zest to challenge /test authority. The British Army have relied on these ballsy characteristics for hundred of years. 16 year olds may or may not like Mr Dog or the latest variation of artists that "sing" in this genre of culture. Glynneath was out there in the Republic a decade before that in 64 smashing teams containing Springbok players, there was protests to try and stop the commandoes from going but the valley commandos wanted to show the rugby World that the South Africans were beatable on their own patch, pity our national team took a beating out there at the same time, but there again no doubt the national team was made up of players from the 'gentlemen' clubs of Cardiff and Swansea types of this World who perhaps did not have the hardness of the valley boys. |  |

I remeber reading back in the day as 12 year old about Carl Smith. He was a big West indian guy who played No 8 for Cardiff and later Pontypridd. Great player. My memory is not great but I got the impression that the team had to leave him behind. Its time the Welsh media gives us this story. Carl might have not wanted to be the one that stopped the tour.
