Hungary saw thousands of refugees taken in by this country and others that have significant numbers of black people. You'd think they'd have some respect, gratitude but nah. I truly wish the Russians were still keeping them under the thumb and the same for their other eastern bloc racist filth for nations. Nothing les than expulsion and a long ban will suffice. But it's FIFA

What would prevent a small group of people entering a match and projecting racist abuse at a player with the sole intent of seeing the team expelled from the respective tournament? In addition, why should the actions of a small group of racists collectively punish every other person in that country? Collective punishment isn't the answer. I would like to see substantial sentences handed out to those found guilty. Put their faces in the media. Ensure they lose their jobs and are alienated by their friends and families. Issue custodial sentences, colossal fines, ensure it ruins their lives for the foreseeable future. The deterrent needs to be strong. Make it so that every person considering racially abusing somebody is aware of the life changing consequences that will follow.

I suspect the beliefs and attitudes that permeates society in some of these countries will ensure the type of sentences you are asking about won’t be forthcoming. You’ve made some good points re the small groups trying to secure a perverse outcome, but something needs to be done. Matches behind closed doors and potentially preventing the televising of the game domestically. This could hit the respective FA in the pocket and losing money would be a big motivator in getting things done.

They played sport against teams that would not even allow black players in their team. Drastic action is demanded for the racist action of a few possibly drunken racist extremists but our 'glorious stars' embraced a racist all white sport with no consequences. Some even have gongs and get paid to write columns in the local press. The Hungarians said sorry at least.

I presume you're ok for Wales to be banned as well in that case, as there are absolutely individuals in Wales who post racist messages on social media?

They will surely have any gongs taken off them sometime. The rugby and cricket players then were as bad if not worse than those Hungarians the other night.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
