There was a good article on the BBC yesterday Jim, explainging how the immune system responds to doses of vaccine / infection.

Hopefully three doses will see us through a few months in the face of omicron.

I fully expect further doses, always have done, nobody has claimed that the first dose will be enough. Apart from the anti-vaxxers of course.

It's 3 months since my booster next Tuesday, I'm wondering if I get another in the Spring if it will be an omicron specific version?

I think that’s quite likely-with a booster next autumn. Really depends on what happens with omicron which is still a bit early to even speculate on to be frank.
Also need to get worldwide vaccination rate up to avoid further VOC

Just read what Prof posts Jim and pay no need to anti vaxers whatsoever.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Those individuals who are immuno suppressed are having a third dose now and their booster is being scheduled for 6 months time. I suspect that is something which will be extended and I think there will be more boosters around that time for the general population. I think funding is being put in place to keep the MVC ‘s open until next September.
