My concern with all this is that unless we are careful we will end up with more career politicians and less people who havej been successful in other fields.

My concern with all this is that unless we are careful we will end up with more career politicians and less people who havej been successful in other fields.

What we need is a change to how people are selected to stand. We get these career politicians because of cronyism and nepotism. The "right people" are selected and parachuted into safe seats, people like Steven Kinnock.

Something has to be done because the system is currently providing us with the worst of both worlds.

I can’t embed the tweet, but in short the same guy was talking about the £20 cut to universal benefit and how some people didn’t need the £20 that was being taken away.

I’ve borrowed this from elsewhere, it’s well worth watching. The hypocrisy of guy is astounding.
