You are going to struggle, I have. I think the main issue is that with so many energy companies going through, everyone has been transferred to the ones remaining and thy can not cope with all the extra customers. In fairness it all happened so fast the whole industry is finding it hard. |  | | |

It’s getting so hard to speak to an actual human being anymore. I had an issue with my electric and was trying to contact British Gas for days. I must have spoken to more robots than Luke skywalker. In the end I lost my rag and sent a filthy email and they phoned me back almost immediately and the issue was fixed. |  | | |

I have had an ongoing problem with British Gas for 5 months. Their customer service is terrible. Waste hours and hours on hold. The queue for their Web Chat thing was 6 hours | | | |

BG worst of all. I was a manager with them for a while . Huge,bloated and inefficient .
We are with Octopus who are brilliant . Ovo also have humans to speak to readily . | |

When people complain they sometimes have to realise it’s a two way street and it can certainly come back and bite you. Complaining is ok for a valid reason but the swings and roundabouts never stop turning. |  |

We ditched British gas years back after we had to get a solicitor onto them, they are total rubbish.
We were with OVO but then Octopus bought them out down here, no complaints about either.
There seems to be a standard now, a recorded message blaming everything on covid. | |
