On Swansea Independent we don’t report anything that isn’t well sourced and firmed up through our contacts. In December we had an interesting day with a few people with regards to other business links and learned of the Leicester City way of processing their clubs targets for the future. 0

His value must have gone to £20 million surely.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Transfermarkt (often under value by around 50 - 75% have him listed at £1.35 million.
Another player, imo, who is worth a fortune for us in terms of goals but not a lot to a PL side. Also we have seen players sold cheaply, apparently, who have not set the Premier League on fire.
Looking at previous high scorers with us who transferred to PL teams none have really made the grade.
2021 season saw only a handful of player transferred for more than £10 million and they had PL games under their belts. I think the highest price was for s goalkeeper.
Abraham has done well but wasn't ours and had a poor scoring record for us.
If he goes it will well short of what some fans think. £10. - £12 million would be generous.

Wonder if PSV have a buyback clause?

I am more concerned if they have a sell on clause.

If an offer came in around the £8m mark then he would be gone, I have little doubt about it.

We would probably have to accept for many reasons.

I can understand if he leaves and goes to a decent EPL side.
Be gutted if he goes to a Championship side
He is easily worth £15 to £20 million

I think if there is a sell on involved it could affect whether we sell and for what fee. A fee of about £10M would be pointless IF there is a sell on fee of say 25% over what we paid. IMO we would need to net at least £10-12M after any agents fees and costs to make it worthwhile.

Its pointless taking six before deductions. You know better than me how much of that we would net. How much would be left to reinvest?
