I think he is getting more confident running at speed that his legs won’t go pop again. For me, that’s testament to the medical staff and good liaison by the manager with the republic manager over the international break. Tonight he was magnificent.

It's such a confidence thing, and you can see his game blossoming now he's feeling better about his game. The frustrations have gone...it's all good!

Totally. Beginning to show he is a class above.

| Obafemi on 06:35 - Apr 6 with 635 views | Dr_Winston | He's best at the things that you can't teach. That either forwards can do or they can't. His awareness on the pitch is excellent. He knows where he is. He knows where others are. He knows where he needs to be. First goal on Saturday is a prime example of that. Good, quick touch into the perfect space for Paterson then he was gone, moving quickly into the perfect position that he expected the pass to come. I'm not even sure that Piroe would have been able to do that. Some of it is down to regular games. He and the other players are getting used to each other, but a lot of it is instinctive. He has the right instincts and looks capable of doing it at a higher level than this. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |
