Seems one group tore down the flag off the other group.
Not sure why peiple of Indians and Pakistan heritage should be fighting on UK streets.

Perhaps we should wait until after the football World Cup before commenting about the behaviour of fans in foreign countries.

These are not fans in a foreign Country, its Muslims and Hindus rioting and fighting each other over a number of nights.

Truly shocking behaviour

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

What is lifey on about here then.
This dispute ,quite vicious, all about cricket rivalry between Hindus and Moslems on the streets of Britain where the Police are blamed by a former Labour MP who was found guilty of harassment .

They have brought bitter tribalism to a British city . Fact

Now then Lifey, comment and address the subject or not at all.

If you believe they're fans in a foreign country , quite a few will agree with you but I'm not sure that's quite what you meant ?

This trouble has been going on since Aug 28 .Needs to be put a stop to now as there has been people from other cities 'visiting' and adding to the problems.

Think longer term. These tensions have existed and periodically erupt since the first Mughal invasion of the sub-Continent a millennia ago. There’s no easy fix for this.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Anybody got any idea how Pakistan and India came into being in 1947 ?

Apparently …. between 1946 and 1948, some 15 million individuals were driven out of their homes and as many as 3 million killed in rioting that went out of control.

No violence at all before 1940.

Strange ?

1940 The Muslim League demands a separate state for Muslims of India, in the Lahore Resolution, on the grounds that they will always be vulnerable in a Hindu-majority state. Leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan's founding father, says India's Muslim community is “very apprehensive and can trust nobody”

If only the reformation of Israel in 1946 was equally as remembered.
It’s been a calamitous history of repatriation by the uk and it’s alleged allies after ww2.
